Click – and it’s done: easy assembly of wood-aluminium windows with the new clip holder KL

The assembly of aluminium shells on wood frames is easy and super-fast with the GUTMANN clip holder KL – no need for pivot holders or wrenches. Aluminium shell and wood frame are joined firmly and securely.

GUTMANN presents a new generation of clip holder technology: the new KL. Aluminium shells can now be fitted without a wrench: conventional pivot holders are now obsolete, and there is no longer any need to turn holders after fitting the aluminium profiles – so assembly times for the aluminium shell are now significantly shorter. At the same time, the clip holder KL offers the same stability as our pivot holders. As it is equipped with the usual holder base, the KL clip still fits all standard templates. The holder can be fixed with screws or nails. As the design is also symmetrical and machinable, it can also be processed automatically.

Naturally, KL’s height and construction are compatible with all GUTMANN wood-aluminium profiles: we have optimised the design to guarantee smooth, easy engagement and maximum stability. Just one click is enough to ensure that the profile is fitted accurately and securely – yet the holder is elastic enough to compensate for any longitudinal and lateral expansion of the frame. The audible “click” is a sure sign that the profile is correctly engaged. Profiles with a single holder chamber are also held firmly with the new KL. As tests have shown, the retention force of the new KL is high enough to ensure its suitability for sash profiles. If the holder needs to be opened in exceptional cases, only standard carpenter’s tools are required.

The clip holder KL is currently available with a base height of 4 mm (KL 4) and stop for frames on axis 17 mm (KL 4-17). KL 5 with base height 5 mm for sash use will be available soon. Other base heights (2 or 6 mm) are available if required.
